We roast our beans on-site in the artisan district Slakteriet, at Slakterigatan 10 in Västerås, creating new types of specialty coffee for both heart and mind. We believe in true coffee passion and delightful experiences for all the senses.
Who is Björklund?
The man behind the roastery is Johan Björklund – a passionate coffee lover, entrepreneur, and Västerås native with over 30 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. In the autumn of 2013, Johan continued a 100-year-old craft tradition in Västerås with Björklunds Kafferosteri. Here, people are challenged to discover what great coffee can and should taste like. Our coffee is a high-quality, fresh product, roasted on demand with expertise and feeling!
Why a Coffee Roastery in Västerås?
Besides offering true coffee lovers a genuine quality coffee – the result of knowledge, passion, and craftsmanship – we want to open people’s eyes to specialty coffee. As coffee enthusiasts, we aim to spread the knowledge and experience of freshly roasted coffee (the aroma, the taste, the feeling) in Västerås and the Mälardalen region.
